I don't mind plaids but homespuns are definitely not my choice to work with. They either feel really cheesy or way too heavy. And they ravel so much. Seems like it almost always shows up in a so-called "primitive" type pattern and they are just not my cup of tea. Nice in a raggedy-edged quilt though.

OK, I could make some houses with plaid roofs.
I went to JoAnn's and picked out these little pkgs of homespun, I guess. Plaids that were muted shades and had a string tied around the bundle.
Brought them home, washed & dried, ironed them while still damp. Was not impressed with flaws, not uniform cuts, etc.
There still in my stash. Maybe someday...or not :?:
