I'm finally finished with this large lap quilt for my Mom, who turned 85 in June. Missed the deadline, but she's been very understanding! These are the colors she loves, hence the title. This quilt also represents my first real efforts in FMQ - I've always hand-quilted or just done SITD by machine. We joke that it's just as well I practiced FMQ on Mom's quilt, as she is nearly blind and won't notice any mistakes! All kidding aside, she's thrilled with it and I know it will make her tootsies warm, as well as her heart...
