I got the pattern years ago from www.quilterscache.com She has directions for the piecing, but I did it my way which was to applique' the rings to the square of fabric. I pieced the archestho. So you just make the rings and sew two sets together and then applique' them to a 20" by 20" square. Of course you will have to square them a little after you ger all your squares done. I would applique' them on the way Eleanore Burns does it and that is with a non woven fusable interfacing. Just lay the interfacing fown with the stickum to the right side and stitch around your arches and then trim away the eces fabric and interfacing to a 1/8 seam allowance , make a hole in the infacing and carefully turn it right side out and thestick um will be on the back where it blongs and then you can press it to the fabric squares. I wish I knew that technique years ago when I started this one. I just used a small zig zag stitch to applique' it on. Have a grgeat day, Huggies, Fay, Oh the quiltescache site does not show how to appliue' it on I did that myself and it was easy, Now you can make the arches one color or you can make them diffrent colors. I chose the one color ones as they are easier rather than to cut a bunch a little pieces and piece them together. funny how we cut up fabrics a sew them backtogether huh?
