The absolute fastest I think would be to make something fusible. (I just took a class on this yesterday.) You can choose a large baby print and cut out shapes/designs and fuse them to another piece of fabric. If you use Steam-A-Seam2 that comes on a roll like fabric (not the tiny strips!) it provides a very strong bond and no outline stitching is required.
