No, totally tone deaf. But, I love music, and sing along with it. When my oldest was very young, he said Mom sounds like a dead cow, bless his little heart, that was nearly 50 years ago.

Everybody else in my family, siblings, is very musical. Oldest sister has a voice that allowed her to be a soloist in High school and college. Brother has a great sense of rhythm, plays the drums, and organ. Younger sister plays the sax, and she's half deaf. Youngest sister has a beautiful voice, and plays the flute.

My husband use to sing opera all the time, but the asthma has taken his lung capacity away, and can no longer do that, we both miss it. Oldest son plays a mean flute, but doesn't really enjoy it, and he has a wonderful singing voice. He played the Cowardly Lion in the Wizard of Oz and got great reviews in the local papers. Youngest son plays the sax, drums and piano, and loves to play jazz, his music teacher wanted him to try out for a musical scholarship, but he said that's not what he wanted, he's an outdoorsman, hence the job of Forestry and fire fighting. He also sings great country, the old stuff. Love to listen to him and my other son get in singing contest, I throw out some word, and they have to come up with a song that has that word in it. Sometimes I think they cheat to just pull one over on mom.

My father also played the drums. Mother is just like me can't do anything musical, except dance like mad with my father, but since he died she has absolutely no interest in it.

So I hope I haven't bored you to death.
Lucinda.
