The bug bit me when my DH came home from the landfill (at that time you had to haul your trash--no pickup) with an old tattered quilt. He wanted to use it for grease rags in his shop. I washed it and it was so pretty under all that grime that he didn't get it. I started searching for the pattern name and have been hooked ever since. The quilt turned out to be a Sawtooth. Found an identical one in a museum in Kansas. Have always thought I would reproduce it but after 44 years still haven't, but I still have the quilt. Bonus is he cannot complain about anything quiltie because HE started it all. grin
