I just bought the Sept/Oct 2010 issue of McCall's Quilting the best of American Quilting magazine.
It has a short but detailed article of Copyright laws for quilts, quilters, patterns etc.
I can't copy any of the article here, but it is worth buying the magazine to find the answers for our rights and wrongs of photos, copies, patterns, sales, etc
I bought mine at Walmart but sure you can find it many places.
