I've been to one meeting but I work in Ann Arbor until 5:30 so it's hard to get to their meetings which start at 6:30. The Quilt Patch holds a UFO weekend every month (un finished objects) that I attend pretty regularly. About twenty women or so get together, bring our sewing machines, all our sewing supplies and a project. We also each bring a dish to pass and spend the whole day sewing, laughing, talking and sharing ideas. It's a great time. Oh, and of course, we shop at the store. :-)
I don't belong to the guild in Jackson, but have gone a few trips with them. . I will have to check out the UFO weekend at The Quilt Patch and come, as I have a few UFOs. I get their e-mail news letter or I'll give the store a call.
