I have always done my own quiliting, mostly by hand, but I have some bigger quilts in the works, and honestly, I am afraid to send them off to be quilted. I am afraid "they" will think my quilts are too terrible to even quilt!
A huge part of the reason you think the quilts you see on the board are so much better than your quilts is because you're just seeing pictures and most of them are taken from 3 or 4 feet away.
Try taking pictures of your own quilts and see how much better they look!
