Your post brought tears to my eyes--happy tears. Moms are so very special and I still miss mine so much even though it's been over 7 years since she died. She pieced a top for me which provided the incentive for me to learn to quilt. My sister has also learned and we both love to get together for a "sisters' weekend" when we can. It's so much fun to just hang out and quilt together, visit, watch movies, eat a little chocolate, drink a little wine . . .
It's sort of like Mother's legacy to us.
