My brother's in-laws went to Uruguay (I think) for 2 years on a church mission and they had to pay $10,000 each to go on this mission. That seems rather expensive to me when you are helping others, but then again I guess someone has to pay for them to eat and for a place to stay.
Did you have to pay? I am not asking how much, but I am just curious if you did. I have a friend that just got back from El Salvador. I know she had to pay something but not sure how much.
