It goes right through, it's kind of hollow. I actually have a picutre somewhere of Alex standing in it and his chest was sticking out the top.
It's really hard to explain how to sew the inside part. You have to kind of match up the seams with your fingers through the center of the cube, and then reach in through the hole left over from when you flipped the whole thing right side out, snake your arm through and grab the two parts you want to sew together with your fingers, and pull it out through the hole that's for turing it right side out again. So each time you make an inside seam, the empty cube will be half inside out... God, that's really hard to explain, ha ha!
