I have a quilter friend in Switzerland and if you can get nice fabric then it is very expensive too. Her solution....
when she comes visit me she buys a lot of fabric, ships a big box to her address (with the shipping costs it is still cheaper). If she needs more fabric....about one or two yards I go and buy it and send it to her. Do you have someone in the States who would do the same for you ?
