Welcome! I have basicallly taught myself to quilt. Originally, I had signed up for a class when I was pregnant with my daughter (2007), that was three sessions, but only the first session went forward because there were not enough people enrolled. SO, in that session, we basically learned now to cut fabric and sew a 1/4 inch seam. That was it. Anyway, the first quilt that I made (what we were supposed to finish in the class) was a "Card Trick" quilt by Eleanor Burns. I did not find it too difficult as a first project. I was so proud after I finished it!!
