You don't sew through the paper, you sew alongside a folded edge of the fp and then iron it over the piece you just sewed. The tute shows it better than I can explain it here. Once you try it, I'm sure you'll love it!!

I just looked at the one above this post ( the purple and paisley one) and that looks like a nice method however, it isn't the method I use and if you think about it, suppose you were doing a pineapple block with resulting 1/4 or 1/2 inch pieces. Would you want to cut all that freezer paper? Not me. I like the single sheet method and the massive amount of time it saves.
