Hi from Hammond, LA! I'm new to this so I can't give you any suggestions...hubby and I just bought two Brother XL3750's from walmart.com. They come with a 'quilting bonus' so I thought they would be pretty cool to start with. We love them! They are about $140.00. Good luck in your search :o)
