Circles would really make it outstanding. All you need to do is find a bowl or plate the size you decide to make the circles and mark around it. Overlapping the circles would look even better. Cookie cutters with handles work great. Do you have a kitchen cutter that cuts circles for tacos, biscuits or something similiar. Those often have a handle that makes it easy to hold still. Even a pot lid.
