I learned a very simple way from a quilt pro. Make a tube of fabric at least two inches wide when finished. Sew it to the top of the back of the quilt. Slide a piece of thin wood like a yardstick or a piece of furing strip inside the tube. Finde the center of the back of the quilt and tube and go about three inches out in each direction.
