my mom had one that her mother made, somehow got bleach spilled on it, she cut out a piece about 25X25 and gave it to my daughter for a doll quilt, the doll was only allowed to stay on the bed with it! now I have it displayed in my studio. perhaps you can cut out a good section and display it in a shadow box as suggested or get a doll rocker and drape it over the arm.
