So sorry for your lose, but no lose of life is good!!
Fire is a terrible thing - I know because, 7/13/71 we lost everything we owned (except for 1 sheet,1 blanket, and a bedspread, hubby grabbed these to wrap children in!) in a house fire. We, had many keepsakes from my grandparents, family, and friends. I was just sick about it for some time, until I gave it some thought - things could have been worse - we could have lost our sons in that fire! I had just moved them to a downstairs bedroom from one upstairs. I was informed that they would have died had they still been up there, because of the smoke, and this had happened in the middle of the night. So, I am very thankful that hubby had gotten thirsty in the middle of the night, saw that the car was on fire, and then discovered that 1/2 the kitchen was also in flames by that time.!
So,I look at as a lose of THINGS, and not people.
