That's just like mine. I've had it for 10-15 years. Still works just fine. I have a large cutting mat that fits it when fully extended. I tend to use only a partial extention with a 35x24 inch mat as it takes up less space. But, for big projects, it works well opened up fully. Enjoy yours.
