I have a variety of rotary cutter sizes: 18, 45 and 60mm. For cutting around curved acrylic templates I like to use an 18mm. For general fabric cutting I think either a 45 or 60mm works equally well, but that being said I prefer my 60mm because it is the most comfortable for me to use. It's also a plus when cutting thick fabric like denim or twill.
