Just a small a correction on this post: You do not get the additional 10% (or any other discount) off once you use a coupon at a Joann's. If you check on the coupons, it says it right on it. I love getting that little extra % off.

I think the card works like the teacher cards. You show your idea the first time and they sign the card or give you a new one. Then you can use the card in addition to your coupons. So, you would get 405 off the item, then 10% off the amount that is left. If items are on sale, you would get an additional 10% off the sale price.
At least that is how the teacher cards work.
