We see a lot of piecers that have been piecing for a while that haven't tryed to applique ,,, I love it and thing it is great....

The butterflies are all machine stitched. I used a blanket stitch with matching thread but if I had it to do over again I would use a satin stitch. It sure would take a lot of thread though.
