I have taken my time to do the rotary instructions fot those who choose to do rotary cutting. I found it very frustrating not to have them included with the book-that's why I have done it. There are those who choose to do handpiecing and cut out the templates and do everything by hand. I personally think this book was written exclusively for hand piecers-That's MY opinion. There are those that like to paper piece--the only way to get help with that format is to have additional computer software. There are quilters who are very new to quilting and don't understand the terminology. There are quite a few blocks that cannot be rotary cut and need the temlates to complete it. Yes, right now all the different pages can be confusing and a little annoying to get to-- and I think down the road it will be ironed out. So to start all over is a little much. My opinion.
Honchey, thank you for the rotary cutting instructions. I used those you provided early on for blocks 1 and 2. I've gotten a bit ahead and done some on my own because I'll be out for town for the next three weeks and didn't want to get left behind. Very true -- I had to use templates for some of the blocks, but that really wasn't a problem for me. Used the templates to rotary cut the pieces. Again, thanks for your hard work on this. And, also my opinion, starting over is not an option.
