Raised 7 teens thru 7 yrs of their teens --I say my 10 yrs of he--. 4 were my husbands --wife deserted them young.
These were the yrs when drugs were even in small towns but I didn"t figure on that. 2 boys -my youngest and his died.
I don't see the other 3 step children but close to my 2.
Deceased hubby and I did a lot of work/babysitting at my sons.Now divorced but dil doesn't want me to see gc since she remarried.Because they were so young when we kept them
they don't remember those times. Good kids anyway. I have been devastated with the situation but hope it changes when the 3 are older. Live 5 hrs away.
My sil and I have said maybe we should adopt some granchildren to take shopping/sleep overs- so- I do charity quilts.
I was a strict parent but know I did a lot of the right moral and ethical teachings with love.
