I saw this post about the tiny sandpaper squares. My bigger quilting rules are Omnigrid and they have little circles with the numbers. Looking at the rulers they have 2 different sized circles with the numbers (1/4" and 1/8"). I was wondering if I could use the fine sandpaper and a hole punch? I was thinking about the scrapbook hole punches. Has anyone tried this?

Also, what did you use to glue to the back of your ruler? Was it any type of special glue?
