I try for that 1/4 inch too. ;) Unless you're making a quilt with just
big squares then you can get by with 1/2 inch but anything with angles
or small cut pieces might get you in trouble in the long run. Better
aim for the 1/4 inch. Besides, you would use less fabric ($$$) and
there would be less bulk for quilting. Just my humble opinion. :D
