This is what I want to try. The virus started showing up in the computer scan on 8/11 so I wondered if I restore to 8/10 if that might do the job. How do I restore to a previous date? The only time I come across that screen is when a virus first shows up and Windows asks how you want to start it-in Safe Mode or to previous settings. I planned on doing that when the screen came up again but it hasn't, of course.
Where do I go to use previous settings?
