I have a real neat book on thread techniques which describes what you did for the tree. I have always wanted to try that but never quite thought up a good idea for it. What you have done is truly a "thread artist". Since I have been an apparel and home dec sewer all my life I have trouble thinking out of the box. I think you did a GREAT job on it!! I would like to try something like that. What is the title of the book and who wrote it?
The book is called The Art of the Needle by Jan Beaney. It is old, published in 1988 by Random House. But the ideas are something we could translate to todays fibers and sewing machines.
