Don't forget you do have to upgrade to each version before the next. Example EQ5 to EQ6 then to EQ7. You can also try Quilt wizard to see if you like computer designing quilts. It's only $20-30 and is available in the Joann Stores (use your 40% off coupons). It is very similar but with very limited designs and fabrics. EQ7 is alittle more complicated but still very similar and has so much more in it.
