A new friend asked my opinion about something once and before I could answer an old friend standing close by said, "Don't do that! Don't ever ask for her opinion unless you're prepared for the brutal truth because she won't lie to spare your feelings. I've tried to tell her that people just want validation not a real opinion but she won't listen." LOL and that's true. Got a new hairstyle? Outfit? Only want compliments? Ask someone else what they think, not me. I try to be nice but sometimes honesty gets in the way.
On this board if I really don't care for something I just pass on it and don't make a comment but if I say that I think something is wonderful, pretty, beautiful, awesome, etc., you can count on that being my truthful opinion. I never compliment just to be nice.
