My oldest granddaughter (17) has my first quilt.
A king size Tulip Log Cabin done in shades of rose, green and ivory is my favorite. I have always loved pinks and greens together. I followed a pattern for some of the quilt but did some improvising as well and made it my "own".
I display them or give them as gifts.

I belong to a small guild, attend workshops and go on quilt retreats once a year.
I have been encouraged to do so but have never entered a quilt in anything.
Yes, I have gotten several friends into quilting.
I find quilting to be relaxing, it is my "therapy".
