This lady is very special to alot of people and when she said that she was moving back to Illinois, I knew that many of her California friends would miss her greatly. So....out came my stash and patterns and thoughts, to make something that only she would be able to 'see'. You see....our friend we would say is handicapped, she says gifted! Totally awesome!!! Please tell me how you do the braille on the quilt. I am legally blind and I have a seeing eye dog. I'm also a member of another group called Touchable Quilters. It's a group of blind and visually impaired quilters. I would be curious as to how you do this and if you don't mind I would like to share the technique with my blind quilting group.
