Thanks for all of your encouragement the other night! I have the quilt, batting and backing spray-basted---thanks for that tip!! I have tried tying and I've given that up...the quilt is just too darn thick at the seams to wrestle the needle in and especially out of!! I mean I worked up a sweat. Ugh. I'm disappointed.
So, back to quilting it with my basic little machine. Wavy lines were suggested using a walking foot, but I don't have one. Any ideas? I have the basic feet that came with my machine and a quilting foot. I'm worried I'm going to mess this up. :(
