We have two quilting clubs at our church. One meets every Monday morning to work on blocks for quilts for our local LifeChoices pregnancy center. The other meets twice a month at night and works on quilts for local needs, such as an Safeway house for mothers and children. We all do some work at home during the week. Also, we contacted our local WalMart and they give us gift certificates twice a year for $50 each for whatever needs we have. Of course, the coffee and cookies makes the time even more fun and we really enjoy the time together.
