I used the "RINGS THAT BIND" book and template - I made my avatar with it and 4 other wall hangings. It was too easy. You quilt as you go and before you attach the rings to the center piece you can quilt in the center (I did my center (interior square by hand), then when you sew everything by machine it is also quilted in the seams, etc. I love it - Just waiting to for extra money to buy fabric to make a queen size. If I can do this anyone can do this... lol
