I do simple mending for my immediate family. I can't do complex. If it's complex, I take it to a Tailor here in town.
I have a neat button foot for my machine and it makes it easy to sew buttons on. Hate sewing them on by hand.
On clothes sizes, I have problem with long sleeves. They are not long enough so I usually don't wear them. Sometimes I buy mens flannel shirts for the winter just so I can get the sleeves long enough. A long time ago, "they" figured out that men have different leg and arm lengths, haven't' they realized that women do too?
