Who taught you how to quilt? I am self taught.

What pattern was the first quilt you made? A sunbonnet sue

Do you still have your 1st quilt? My DD has it. I made it for her when she was 3 years old.

Which of your quilts is your favorite and why? A log cabin paper pieced quilt I made with 4 inch finished blocks. it's queen size so I made 320 blocks, added a scollop border iwth appliqued flowers....and hand quilted it myself.

What do you do with the quilts you make? I give some of them away to my kids but they usually keep each other company in the closet.

What is the oldest quilt in your collection? a log cabin hand pieced and hand quilted circa 1876, made by my GGGGma and passed down.

Do you belong to a guild, or attend workshops? no quilt and yes to occasional workshop.

Have you ever entered a quilt in a quilt-show or fair? Yes and won

Have you encouraged others to try quilting? Yes, all the time.

Why do you quilt?
I love the beauty and the creativity in quilting. It gives my something else to focus on and relaxes me.
