Thanks so much. What I decided to do was sew over it and then cut the wrong peice away, it worked pretty well. The block is now square with at least the possiblity of not losing the points when it is sewn together. It is not even nor is it perfect. But when I look at it up on the wall I like it.

I am going to try this block again and reduce the pattern by 2%.

The original pattern was not perfectly accurate, I drew it into transfer paper, and may have made some slight errors.

My seam allowances are not right. My machine is old and when there is a lot of fabric, it pushes the needle off a bit. It is a pain, but I'll try to re-do it more [or wait until Mom is here with her machine] :thumbup:

When I sewed the white to the orange, the white wrinkled. I guess I need to use starch, but it irritates my skin.

I think I spent more time trying to fix this than it would have taken to make a new one!
