Even though it looks pretty I think I would put the doors back on. Are they the bi-fold type or the sliding? If the bi-fold you still can have the same effect when you need a candy fix. I also, liked the idea of the velcro strips for a design wall when doors are closed. Just placed on each side of the molding and instant design wall.
