Ready to sew the braids together. :-D The sides are all trimmed and the bands are pieced lengthwise. I need to lay them out and measure since it's unlikely they are all the same length. I left the ends long instead of cutting them all at 1/4" seam allowance past the last center square in case I need to adjust more than a smidgen.
I have very little black left, probably not enough to do the slim inner border and the binding. Will need to figure up if I have enough of the band fabric to do the slim border since it would need to be fussy cut.
