I have finished my "D-O-G" quilt. There is a picture of Heidi on it. She doesn't like having her picture taken, so I had to work fast. I couldn't find any stripe in my stash to do Geta's design justice, but found this violet stripe, so it had to do. I only had 1 yard of each of the fabrics, so my design was limited, because of the size the quilt had to be. It is 42" square, should really have been bigger. The wonky is the sashing strips between the squares. The old machines don't ease and I was sewing upstairs while the pins were downstairs. I also wanted it puffy so used polyester batting. I had to use muslin on the back. I made strips for the binding and sewed them on the back and folded to the front. I forgot to add that purple is Heidi's favorite color...don't ask.

a little Geta, a little wonky
