Cobaltjars 62, looks like you have not been on here very long, me either, but as an old person I feel like I can learn so much from you youngsters, I try to keep an open mind and hope to be quilting when I am older, will be 76 in a few days, I feel so blessed, bought a replica 220 featherweight from a friend for $75.00 last week, it is in perfect shapes,he was given a 220 singer , white one from Scotland perfect shape then I found a table for the 220 singer yesterday cost me $2.00, looks like a card table but was made for the 220 singer, fits perfect. my husband will refurbish it, also found a quilting table looks like a card table, cost me $6.00 same size, for only a few bucks at the local St Vincents store. I am so blessed, plan on using both often.Bought an old singer treadle last year, Looks great in my living room , guess I should post some pictures, :oops:
