The article was fascinating.
So far I've only read chapter one.
I think the article deserves it's own thread.
It stimulated lots of thoughts in my mind.
My mom sewed my clothes when I was a kid.
I even asked her to make my wedding gown, which she did.
I, on the other hand, did not sew until I retired.
My sister was a home ec major, but seven years later, when I went to high school, home ec, was not even an option. There was academic, secretarial, or general.
