Welcome from Michigan's Upper Peninsula. I live in Iron Mountain which is on the border of Michigan and Wisconsin.
My maternal great-grandparents (father)were originally from Cornwall and moved to Canada prior to immigrating to the USA in approx. 1902. My maternal great-grandparents (mother) were English and involved with mining operations, mainly open pit iron mines. My aunt by marriage immigrated from Cornwall in 1921 with her parents and siblings. She visited Cornwall regularly and brought me a silver charm for my bracelet when I was in high school.
