After all blocks are done you sew the rows/columns together, get your batting to line up. On your backing, one side you lay down, the other you fold under 1/2" and blind stitch it down, then when you're done with the whole thing, you do your quilting on the little sections. Piece of cake. I think. Make sure you don't leave more than an inch all around the block, like the first QAYG I tried. Doesn't work.
