I just wanted to take a moment to thank first whomever it was that decided to contact everyone from every Boomerang swap and ask them to make me a block as a way to say thank you for the swap and that you appreciate me as a hostess. I do not know who did this but whichever one of my wonderful swappers it was I thank you from the very bottom of my heart. I received my first set of blocks on Monday and that was one of my really bad days so it really warmed my heart and brought tears to my eyes to come home and find such a surprise in my mailbox. Yesterday I came home and found five more beautiful blocks. (I am going to post a complete list of who from this evening as I forgot my list at home :-( )
Second- all of the love, support, and caring nature of all of you swappers really means more to me than you could ever know. It was a very hard decision for me to sit out of 3 but I felt it was best for everyone as I did not want to let anyone down-I love you all and want you to enjoy this swap for as long as possible so I have to get myself better so I can keep hosting it :P
There really are not enough words to say thank you to everyone who said yes to making me a block-it is a huge sign of just how many kind and wonderful people there still are in this world. I am glad to call you all my friends and that you are my swappers too lol
So again to whomever took this major project (there are a lot of people in this swap) on I thank you from the bottom of my heart. You will never know just how much it means to me that someone I have never met in person thinks enough of me to go that extra step and help me smile when times get tough.
And to everyone who has made me a block I thank you all as well. The tears roll out whenever I get one and my heart continues to swell with such warm emotions I think it may burst.
You are all wonderful and I am blessed to have you in my life. You have made such an impact on my life. You all may never know just how much but you did. I am going to make these blocks in to a "hug" quilt for me so that when I have a bad day I can wrap up in the "arms" of my friends and feel the love through the miles.
