Hi my name is Sue and I live in the beautiful South West of the little island of the UK. I have sewing nearly all my life :D and about 12 years decided to start making patchwork quilts. I love to hand sew, so most of my quilting takes for ever.
I have been persuaded to teach and have had a small group, here in Weston. Classes included hand piecing, applique - needle turned and machine sewn as well as the dreaded mitre borders.
My work will never be perfect - it couldn't be if I tried as I still have so much to learn. I also learnt from the Shetland knitters who produce that beautiful fairisle kniting that they always include a mistake in their work as only God is perfect.
