damaquilts

A friend of mine gave me these quilts to repair for her. I said sure not problem. Until I got them home and really looked at them .They are not going to be used she just wants to keep them together to pass them on to her nieces since she didn't have any children of her own.
I suggested that she have them appraised before I touch them. I am thinking just using the tulle to cover the spots that are gone.
I could make some good money repairing these but it just seems like not screwing them up is more important.
To me anyway I think they are beautiful. They are all hand pieced with tiny stitches and the quilting on them is really small compared to mine.
